Heloise Gold Performance
Gold’s work is an exquisite mélange of gleeful humor, captivating images and finely etched movement detail, all eliciting a meditative dream state if you can stop laughing enough. [Gold uses] metaphor, comedy, tragedy, parable and downright silliness to weave her magical spell. Decidedly out of the usual orbit, you might call her a stand-up comedienne, but then again she’s a dancer, a diva…a storyteller, a sibyl learned in the power of ritual…She was dynamic, fresh and riveting.
